This electric heated twin knife sterilizer is designed to replace the traditional constant flow or hot water bath type knife sterilizer found in meat processing plants. This unit sanitizes one knife while another is being used, or two knives simultaneously.
This unit requires +82°c potable water circulated within 300mm of the inlet connection for compliant operation. NZ MPI requires that in water in knife sterilisers must be a minimum of 82°c during the sterilization cycle. As the econoliser’s use very little water we need to ensure the hot water is “right there”
Only 120ml of 82⁰C water used per sterilisation cycle, representing a massive reduction in water and energy compared to constant flow or water bath types
Knives are left cleaner than with traditional methods
Virtually no steam, to condense on equipment and drip onto meat
Uses absolutely no water when production line is not running
Virtually no ambient heat produced, reducing running cost in refrigerated areas
