This Stainless Steel Direct-Acting Pressure Sustaining/Back Pressure Valve maintains stable upstream pressure. It restricts/closes when upstream pressure drops below. Often used on systems where upstream fire systems are required to maintain water pressure authority.

Product Features:
  • Used to maintain back pressure "Sustain pressure" on pump lines and water systems. (opens as pressure hits or exceeds the setpoint)
  • Can be used as an excess pressure valve.
  • Stainless Steel 316 Valve body - suitable for fluids, air & some gases.
  • The gate is a balanced pressure design, which will not influence the outlet pressure caused by unstable inlet pressure.
  • Comes Standard with Potable water WRAS seals suitable for -10 - 85°c Fluids.
  • The inlet pressure responds directly to the pressure control chamber and regulates accordingly.
  • The special design of diaphragm and piston means smooth pressure regulation and effective seal under no-flow conditions
  • Comes with a standard BLUE spring which has a pressure range from 1-6 bar (14.5 - 87 PSI). Higher pressure springs can be provided as accessories at 4-10 (58 - 145 PSI) or 8-13 bar (116 - 188 PSI)  pressure. 
  • Optional supply of seal kit which is suited for 90°c water, oily products and compressed air (please enquire with the team for this option)
  • Maximum incoming pressure 25 bar (362 PSI)
  • Valve body test pressure 35 bar
