Heating or Cooling water buffer tank, carbon steel, with 6 screwed connection ports, rigid insulation, and PVC Jacket cover for indoor use.
Carbon-steel 6-bar-rated tank, externally anti-rust painted. (Tested to 9 bar)
Design Code: Designed and manufactured in accordance with Sound Engineering Practice (SEP) in compliance with Article 4(3) of the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) 2014/68/EU.
6 x 2 or 4" threaded female BSP ports at 0°, 180°, 270°
Insulation: 55mm closed-cell foam (hard type) with PVC dress jacket skin
Fluid temp: -10/+70°c (85°c on request)
AUX Connections/Ports: 32mm BSP drain and vent. 8 x 20mm side ports for gauges/instruments.
Can be used as a 4-port or 2-port buffer or distribution tank.
Normal applications include: Hot-water heat-pump thermal buffer tank; Water-chiller inertia tank; Boiler system primary-secondary buffer, and Hydronic heat storage.
